Kims'
love of the outdoors began in his teens with experience
as a junior ranger in northern Ontario.
He became
a canoe enthusiast and pursued his love of our natural
world by spending four years
obtaining
a degree in Forestry at lakehead University in
Thunderbay Ontario.
Kim
has been taking photographs since the mid 1990's. Self
taught and packing 35mm cameras that
are
over 30 years old, he travels the wilderness and rural
routes of Ontario.
His
life long love of the outdoors is clearly reflected
in his unique eye for composition, colour, and light.
Kim
hand paints and finishes each frame himself and his
photographs are not altered in any way.
What
you see here is what Kim saw when he captured the image.
Kim
lives with his wife, Anna, and their six children on
a small herb farm just outside Beaverton Ontario.
